Repurposing an Old Tshirt for adding Tags for My Crochet Goods

I am so excited about my new DIY tags.  You probably have seen those beanies with custom leather tags added to them.  I just thought those are so adorable and added the ultimate customization and branding to any crochet or handmade wear.  But I thought there must be a way for me to create my own tags without using any animal skin.  And Yes there is.

These are made using a Tshirt that I messed up during production.  I do Tshirt for a full time job.  So I have plenty of Tshirts from production that misprints or have some errors.  And Instead of throwing them away… I kept most or some.
These is how they are made:
I used a dark paper transfer.  I was able to make 46 tags per T-shirt.  But I’m pretty sure you can triple  or quadruple the amount you can print on a Tshirt.  Because all you have to do is fill the Tshirt with Transfer Paper.
I used a 11x17 heat transfer paper and printed on a regular inkjet.
But you can simply used 8.5 x 11 on any inkjet printer.
